Wicklund of Wonder Lake, died Monday, June 27, at his home. He was 79 years old, born in Byske, Sweden Jan. 9,1904, the son of August and Maria (Hedman) Wicklund. Mr Wicklund lived in Wonder Lake about 36 years, having come from Chicago. He was a retired superin tendent for a well supply company in Chicago. His wife Edna V. Wicklund, preceded him in death Oct. 27, 1973. Surviving are a sister, Astrid Degerman in Sweden; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, at Peter M. Justen & Son funeral home, with Pastor Gordon Smith of Ringwood United Methodist church officiating and burial in McHenry County Memorial Park, Woodstock. Kurowski of Pistakee Terrace, McHenry, died Monday, June 27, at McHenry hospital. He was 64 years old, born in Chicago May 16, 1919, to Anton and Eva (Ratkowski) Kurowski. Mr. Kurowski lived in the McHenry area about 21 years, having come from Chicago. He was a boiler engineer for Harper college, Palatine, 111. In addition to his wife Clara (Lorkiewicz) whom he married Aug. 16,1947, in Chicago; he is survived by four daughters: Mrs. Gary (Annette) Rosentreter of Ingleside, Mrs. Karen Kayler of San Jose, Calif., Mrs. Wayne (Theresa) Tavlor of Golden, Colo, and Mrs. Dolores Rose of McHenry; a son Anthony, Jr. of McHenry; and six grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, Chester of Tucson, Ariz, and Edwin of Lake Geneva, Wis. ; a sister Sophie Schwenkler of Tucson; and many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. John the Baptist Catholic church, Johnsburg, with burial in Windridge cemetery, Cary. Dercole, 83, of McHenry, died Sunday, June 26, at Sherman hospital, Elgin, 111. He was born April 4, 1900, the son of Andrew and Rose Dercole. Surviving are three sons: Andrew of Des Plaines, James of McHenry and Gregory of Burtons Bridge, McHenry; two daughters: Rosette Motto of Crystal Lake and Mrs. Jack (Lucille "Tiny") Reese of Burtons Bridge; 12 grandchildren; a brother Joseph Darks and a sister Minnie Tr onsen. He was preceded in death by his wife Ann; and four sisters: Christine, Anna, Mary and Margaret. Visitation was scheduled from 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Columbian Chapels, 6621 W. North Ave., Oak Park. VIOLA GOSSE Viola Gosse, 76, of Richmond, died Sunday evening, June 26, at McHenry hospital. She was born Jan. 10,1907, in Cleveland, Wis., the daughter of William and Mary (Wesling) Klein. On Jan. 14,1928, in Cleveland, Wis., she married A1 Gosse, who pased away Oct. 27, lfltt. Mrs. Gosse was a supervisor at Admiral Corp., McHenry tor 17 years, retiring in 1970. For the last 10 years she worked at the Candy Cone restaurant, Richmond. She was a member of St Joseph Catholic church and the Altar and Rosary Society. Surviving are two daughters: Mrs. Mervin (Dolores) Stfrchet of Gut- tenberg, Iowa and Mrs. Lorraine Meisinger of Woodstock; one son Orville of Wonder Lake; 10 grand children; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Paul (Loretta) Fox of Sheboygan, Wis.; and two brothers, Theodore of Sheboygan and Elmer of Cleveland, Wis. She was preceded in death by a sister Marie and four brothers: Joseph, Edward, Lawrence and William. A Funeral Mass will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph church, Richmond, with the Rev. Thomas Neville officiating and in terment in the "church cemetery. Alheit, 45, of McHenry, died Saturday, June 25, at McHenry hospital. He was born Feb. 16, 1938, in Ohio, the son of Edward and Freda (Driver) Alheit, Sr. A resident of the McHenry ares the past 18 years, formerly of Ohio, Mr. Alheit was employed by McHenry Sand ft Gravel for the past 16 years, as a heavy equipment operator in the pit area. Survivors include his former wife, Loretta (Jeske) Alheit of McHepry ; a son Jeffrey, living at home; a daughter Dawn Marie Nejadfard of Elyria, Ohio; three brothers, Donald, Edward, Jr. and Gene, all of Elyria; and two grandchildren. His parents preceded him in death. Visitation was scheduled from 3 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the George R. Justen & Son funeral home, where funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday; and interment in Woodland cemetery. Memorials would be appreciated to the Cancer Society and the Heart Fund. She married Bernard Peschke; they lived most of their married life in McHenry; and he passed away in 1972. Survivors are one daughter, Ann Hogan of Mountain, Wis.; three sons, Bernard, Jr. of McHenry, Gerald of White Like, Wis. and Alan of New Hampshire; one brother, Norbert Suski of Florida; 14 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was born Nov. 4,1909, in Illinois, to David Thomas and Vernon Gridley. \ She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers. Surviving are her husband, Henry Glick of McHenry, whom she married Jan. 18, 1927 in Gary, Ind.; a son Henry Glick, III, also of McHenry; three grandchildren; and two sisters: Goldie Wright and Juanita Hahn, both of Sun City, Ariz.
