Established in 1918, Phi Theta Kappa recognizes intellectual achievement. Initiates must carry a full-time class load of 12 or more credit hours and maintain a grade point average of 3.5 or better on a 4.0 scale. Chapter co-sponsors Mel Wallace, MCC instructor and coordinator of police science, and Suzanne Vadasz Wallace, MCC speech instructor,have reported the initiation of Robert Boyle, McHenry. and Robert Hunt, Wonder Lake (chapter treasurer). Other new members include Rob Kunz and Kim Touissaint, McHenry, Eileen Rabelholfer, Spring Grove; and Ginger Spitzer, Ringwood. JEANNE MEYER GRADUATE -- After extensive training in travel tourism, Jeanne Meyer of McHenry is a recent graduate of Southeastern academy. To cvmplete the program of study, Jeanne met requirements in the areas of career and personal development in addition to specialized occupational training. She is now qualified for an entry-level position in all areas of the airline, travel or tourism industry. Lauderdale, BS degree in Aviation Technology, and Steven Lingeman, 5401 Amby, BS degree in Industrial Engineering, all of McHenry, and Laurie Ann Olson, 5412 N. Ridgeway, Ringwood, BA degree in Humanities, Social Science and Education. DR. TIMOTHY J. WILT Timothy J. Wilt received his M.D. degree June 10 from the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Chicago, Health Sciences Center. He will begin a three-year residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis June 24. , Dr. Wilt, a 1974 graduate o| McHenry high school, received his t Bachelor of Arts degree from th#| Colorado college, Colorado Springs, Colo, in 1978. He was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, the National Honor society, and is a member of the American Chemical society. During his medical school Dr. Wilt was granted a Ji scholarship which allowed him pursue independent scientific research as a part of his medical school training.
