Four judges from throughout McHenry county have selected Jeafuiie Jorgenson, a junior in Hebron high school, as 1963 Miss Wonder Lake. The 5-foot, 4-inch Miss Jorgenson has brown hair and hazel eyes and resides with her parents, Bob and Rose Jorgenson, in Giant Oaks sub division, Wonder Lake. She shares with last year's winner, Mari Jacobson, a Norwegian heritage. Miss Jacobson, a student at the 'head of ^er Successor Sunday afternoon. Runnerup for the title was Heather Fitzgerald, daughter of William and Pat Fitzgerald of Wonder Lake. She is a graduate of Woodstock high school. Miss Jorgenson was presented with a $50 savings bond and a bouquet of flowers, as well as her tiara. Miss Fitzgerald was given a home video tape, dinner for two, and flowers. The new title holder will represent her home community in the Miss McHenry County competition in August. Jeannie was secretary of the Year Book at her high school and was in charge of publicity for the Future Homemakers association. Her hob bies are water and snow skiing, bike riding and swimming. Next fall she plans to study both in Hebron and at the Lake County Vocational college, where she will take courses in preparation for a nursing career. 1 Heather, a statuesque blonde, skis with the Wonder Lake Ski club. Crown Miss Wonder Lake REIGN ENDS--In a pensive mood, Miss Connie Nelson, looks at a copy of the Plaindealer from a year ago telling of her choice by the judges to reign as Miss McHenry. Miss Nelson will place the crown on the head of the new title holder as she relinquishes her title Wednesday, June 29, in judging scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at Parkland school. The public is invited to take advantage of expanded seating capacity and free parking as they witness the crowning of a new queen. There will be a minimal charge to attend. STAFF PHOTO-WAYNE GAYLORD PLAINDEALER A McHenry area businessman, Donald H. Dool, was sentenced last Thursday in federal court for income tax evasion. Dool, 52, of Crystal Lake, is the president of Teletechnology In ternational, Inc., 1701 Schroeder road, McHenry, who pleaded guilty in mid- May to not filing income tax returns for the years 1976 and 1977. Federal District Judge Marvin Aspen sentenced Dool to 60 days on a work-release program at the Metropolitan Correctional center, Chicago, and five years probation. As part of the probation, Dool must fulfill his Lax filing requirements and repay all taxes due. Information filed March 23 by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) charged Dool with failure to file in come tax returns in the years 1976, 1977 and 1978. The information alleged that Dool received $87,000 in salaries from Teletechnology International, during these years. The maximum sentence that could have been imposed was one year in jail and-or $10,000 fine on each charge. The law also requires the violator to pay all back taxes, interest and any civil penalties that may accrue.
