Scoreboard Chilly, drizzly weather welcomed the ladies of McHenry Country Club to their second round of match play tournament and the concurrent Consolation Tournament. Results in flight one were Virginia Turner over Caroline Dalton on for­ feit, Floss O'Connell over Liz Nolan on the 18th hole, Espar Oja over Judy Smithson and Carol Cooney over Evie Castle. In second flight, it was Dot Christensen over Floss Miller on forfeit, Marge Blomquist over Barb Weber, Laverne Harpling over Carolyn Harger and Bernice Dolce over Char Zwissler. Third flight found Toots Gerstad oyer Katheryn Bolger, Fran Weyland over Marilyn Reihansperger, Linda Puccio over Jackie Victor and Fran Hermann over Micki Becker on forfiet. In fourth flight, it was Rita Sayler over Lynn McKieroan, Betty Wayman over Lotte Koch, Marcy Wakitsch over Magda Henhapl. The match between Speedy Neuman and Alta Gierke was postponed until later in the week. In consolation tournament, in first flight, it was Nell Fidler over Joan Buss, Dot Freund over Lynn Schmidt, Marlene Smith on a bye and Betty Mohan on a bye. Second flight had Betty Strauss over Betty Phelan on forfeit, Mabel Smith on a bye, Carole Barnicle on a bye and Betty Gossell over Esther Jemiola on forfeit.
