Serving will begin at 5 p.m. and continue until the ice cream is gone. Plan now for a drive to Greenwood that evening and enj home-baked pies and cakes topped with ice cream. Sunday, Sept. 11, the United Methodist Youth (U.M.Y.) of Greenwood-Ringwood parishes will sponsor a family picnic at Petersen park. This will be a noon meal with the youth furnishing the meat and beverage. Each family is asked to bring a dish-to-pass and their own table service. The last meeting of church school for the summer session will be held Sunday, Aug. 14. The first meeting of children for the fall session will be Sunday, Sept. 11. SOFTBALL TOURNAMENT Thirty-two teams will be par­ ticipating in the softball tournament sponsored by the Rusty Nail softball team this weekend, Aug. 5, 6, and 7. BEATTY GRANDCHILDREN REUNION The children and grandchildren of Emily Beatty always got together the last Sunday of July, to celebrate Grandma Beatty's birthday. This year the grandchildren gathered at the home of Del and Donna Olsen, in Richmond, for a reunion picnic.
