M I'AtJK • - l'iiAli«iirwti.riii - Prepare For Seminar "Buy Right, Stock Right" is the title of the retail seminar being presented Sept. 14 at Chapel Hill Country Club under the auspices of the Retail Council of the McHenry Area Chamber of Commerce. Among the topics to be covered in this three-hour presentation are: Role and responsibility of staff, merchandise planning, stock con trol, turnover, averages and shor tages, and pricing suggestions. Beginning at 10:30 a.m., each topic will be fully covered by Jack Van Renterghem, and questions and answers will be allowed throughout. Each topic represents one whole phase of retailing that could be the cause of reduced profits, undetected by the owner. Van Renterghem'* years of successful experience in retailing have been converted iijto ^analytical analysis which equips him to help others help themselves prosper further. Because the council believes that this seminar is Of extraordinary pertinence to today's retailer, members have elected to invite non- Chamber members to participate at a very nominal charge. The time and the dollars invested could pay back multifolds. This seminar is available to all McHenry Chamber members at no charge. Reservations are now being ac cepted at the Chamber office, 385- 4300. Menu selections are to be made at that time. The price of lunch is the same for all.
