Leon Mayo wins bus roadeo award Goes on to national competition If the results of the Regional Transportation Authority's (RTA) 1963 Bus Roadeo are any indication, the best bus drivers in the Chicago suburban area come from Evanston, McHenry and Highland Park. Mayo, who works for Worts Transportation Company, won first place in the 3frfoot dass at the RTA's fourth annual suburban bus roadeo. North Suburban Mass Transit District; Leon Mayo, McHenry, who drives for the Worts Transportation Company; and Edward Knaff, Highland Park, who drives ^tor the City of Highland Park. According to Brian Sager, McHenry County Extension adviser, the workshops are designed for beginning ' tax preparers who plan to prepare returns for other people. ' The workshops will be held from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. daily Oct. 17, 19, 21, 24, 26 and 28. Sager emphasizes that the workshops are planned for people who have had little or no experience and who wish to become more competent in preparing income tax returns for others. Among the subjects to be covered are: --Completing Form 1040 anH Form 1040A -'•-Taxable and nontaxable expenses --Deductible and non deductible expenses --Itemized deductions --Depreciation --Capital gains and losses --Tax basis calculations --Preparation bf the business Schedule C and farm Schedule F Because attendance will be limited, Sager advises those interested to contact the McHenry County Cooperative Extension Service at 789 McHenry Avenue, P.O.
