' Attorney Barbara Walters of Crystal Lake will discuss the pitfalls of being uninformed about marital law in Illinois. The program will be presentea in conjunction with a two-year study of marital law in Illinois being conducted by the League of Women Voters, of Illinois. The league feels most women have never been encouraged to deal with the financial and legal arrangements of the partnership called marriage. They are often ill prepared to handle the problems that arise when a marriage ends, either through death or divorce. Married women often live under a false umbrella of security which folds when something happens to their mates. The public is invited to attend this important and informative meeting which will begin at 9:30 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, 311 Washington Street in Woodstock. Babysitting will be available at the church. The League of Women Voters is a non-partisan organization that encourages informed citizen participation at all levels of government.
