OCTOBER 7.1W3 Lee is Thompson of Woodstock. Mrs. Thompson is the former Charlotte Hogan of Ringood. Sharon Ainger, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Ainger of Harvard, is the fourth county winner. Her grandmother is the former Gladys Shepard of Ringwood and/ her great* grandmother is the late Ruby Grace Vyduna is recognized for her continued support of the 4-H program. She and her husband, Calvin, have raised three activer 4-H members. Her interest in the 4-H program is evident in the time she nas devoted to serving on the McHenry County Youth Council, and as president of the 4-H House Mothers', Association at the University of Illinois. She has organized displays and taught youth how to sew, give a talk or demonstration, judge 4-H projects and start new 4-H clubs. • She initiated the 4-H Mini-Fair at Johnsburg Junior High School and organized a series of church family nights which incorporated 4-H mini-courses into the program. As a 4-H youth, Ms. Vyduna took an interest in the health activity, designing displays on that theme. She continues to emphasize the health activity to 4-H members. Two of her club members have been National 4- H Health Scholarship winners. Her 4-H nutrition experience has prepared her for the work she is now doing in the field of low salt, low sugar and low fat diets to fchow the progress of cardio­ vascular disease. > She collects, adapts and states. . When Lee Tomlinson, member of the Busy Three 4-H Club of Ringwood, attends the National 4-H Club Congress, she will be presented with a $750 scholarship by the Santa Fe Railroad.
