Hie "first lady of dance", Ruth Page, will appear in the historical Woodstock Opera House on Thursday, Oct. 20 at 10 a.m. to recap her illustrious career in ballet. As a choreographer she has created some ot the best known ballets of our time. "Frankie and Johnny" and "Billy Sunday" have won critical acclaim. "Merry Widow" was performed in September on Chicago television station, WTTW, and received rave reviews. As an author, she has written a book of essays, Page by ~ and is working on a new Class, which recoun around which she has age thirteen. These 28-week courses are as follows: Tap for Tots- ages 4-6, designed with the younger set in mind; Boys Tap-ages 6-12-learn the basics of tap dance & develop coordination skills; Tap I - ages 6-12. tap dancing for early grade beginners; Tap n- ages 10-15, will concentrate on performance, style, brush up on hindamentals & move into some advanced steps.
