A new member was Rachel Wolter. Amy Zvonar is checking into purchasing a tree to be donated to Busch School. The club window display received an "A" rating and third in the (bounty. The club aided the McHenry County Defenders in the Oct. 15 recycling drive. Members suggested having a Christmas party at the Group Home. Theresa Smith is coordinating the greeting card program. Steve Smith reported on member's projects now on display at the McHenry Public Library. The family achievement dinner will be Nov. 18 at Shepherd of the Hill Church. Congratulations to Steve Smith and Mark Zvonar whose records were selected for Regionals. Sean Dar­ mody was withheld because of his age. Club Dy-laws are. to be ammended and voted upon. Johnsburg P.T.O. asked the older members to assist with their Halloween party. Theresa Smith, Club Reporter McHenry County College's counseling department is now offering career planning sessions on a regular basis that can aid the public in making decisions about the future. The program is composed of two sessions. During the first meeting MCC's coun­ selors administer a test designed to help an in­ dividual assess his or her interests, experiences, abilities and values as they relate to future training and employment. The second session is devoted to interpretation of the results of the test. The counselors will aid par­ ticipants in understanding how the results printed in the results of the test will be Friday, Nov. 18, 6-8 p.m., in the same room. The program will also be offered Tuesday, Nov. 1, 1-4 p m., in room 143. In­ terpretation will be Tuesday, Nov. 22,1-4 p.m., in the same room. There is a charge for participation. It is im­ perative thai registration is completed prior to the testing date so that testing materials can be obtained for each participant. There will be no at-the-aoor registration. The deadline for registering for the Friday, Oct. 28 test is Thursday, Oct. 27. The deadline for the Tuesday, Nov; 1 test is Monday, Oct. 31. Registration completed by telephone.
