She became the first woman officer when apointed Assistant Cashier in January 1962. She was later promoted to Assistant Vice President in 1978. She is a graduate of Western Illinois University with a degree m merchan dising Before coming to McHenry State Bank she was employed by Chas. A. Stevens & Co., in Vernon Hills. Presently Joanne holds the title of Personnel Officer and assists in administering the bank's personnel management program. Joanne and her husband reside in Wonder Lake McMENRY STATE BANK • 351OW. Elm St. Mchenry CAROL A. SChOLLE Carol started with McHenry State Bank in June of 1963 in the bookkeeping department She was appointed Assistant Auditor m January 1972. Carol helped with the conversion of the manual posting of checking accounts to automation and was instrumental in setting up verification procedures for all bank applications MchENRY STATE BANK 3510 W. Elm St., McHenry DORIS WAGNER Doris started pan time in the fall of 1957 while still in high school. Upon her graduation in June 1958, she began lull time in the bookkeeping department. During the next tour years she worked in the bookkeeping, proof and teller departments, leaving in August 1961 to raise a family. Dons returned to the bank again in December 1971. On November 1, 1977 she became head teller and was made Assistant Cashier on September 14, 1978 Her duties are mainly to staff and supervise all teller activities at each of the three buildings ol McHenry State Bank. Mchenry ELOISE BENES Eloise started at McHenry State Bank in August of 1969 and worked in various departments until she began working in the trust, department in October 1976. Later in January 1980, she was promoted to Assistant Trust Officer, and in this position, Eloise is in charge of trust operations. MchENRY STATE BANK 3510 W. Elm St., Mchenry x LENORA FRISBY Lenora Frisby began her duties with McHenry State Bank in 1956 as secretary to the president. Following that time she was appoin ted Assistant Cashier, Then Assistant Vice President and Trust Of ficer. Later she was appointed Vice President and Trust Officer and a Director of the Bank in 1974. In addition to trust depar tment duties, Miss Frisby is in charge ol the bank's marketing and advertising and heads the Special Services Department MchENRY STATE BANK 3510 W. Elm St.. Mchenry MARIANNE NIES Marianne Nies, co-owner of Photography by Nies in McHenry, has the responsibility of all phases ol artwork restorations, print finishing and brush oils in the studio. She has won national awar ds in all categories above and is now in demand as a lecturer Her latest speaking engagement was at the Professional Photographers of America national convention in Las Vegas Currently she is the Secretary ol the Northland Area An League. MAIN ST., MchENRY JOANNE MAI Joanne Mai has helped keep McHenry County Well & Pump Com pany afloat during her 21 fine years with the established business During her long term with the McHenry company, Joanne has handled a variety of reponsibilities including secretarial, bookkeeping, ordering, payroll & advertising. She presently fulfills the rigorous duties of office manager. Owner Phyliss Matthesius refers to Joanne as "an indispensable part of McHenry County Well & Pump Company."
