According to some home economists, many families now do large-scale shopping just once a week, which means extra savings on mileage and shop ping trips. Here are some additional steps to take that can help one save even more time: ...Che \ the ads and plan on stocking up on the good bargains. ) ...Plan menus for the week before going to the super market. ...Make a shopping list and follow it closely. But also be prepared to take advantage of unadvertised specials. ...Take advantage of cents-off coupons on family favorites. ...Store foods immediately upon return from the supermarket - wrap fresh meats loosely in wax. paper and store in the coldest section of the refrigerator. ...Organize the foods in the refrigerator so that they can be retrieved quickly and easily. Doris LOW 653-9262 Katy Christopher 386-8037 s.'% L -* Christmas Day will be a combined service at the Ringwood United Methodist Church at 9:30 a.m.; and New Year's Day will be at Green wood at 10:30 a.m. We welcome all who wish to worship with us and enjoy the beautiful organ-piano duets presented by Cheryl Gamen at the organ and Pastor Smith at the piano during the morning services. The congregation also greatly appreciates the music of the choir with their inspirational message in song. Take time during this busy holiday season to enjoy a time of quiet and worship at the church of your choice and remember why we celebrate Christmas.
