"Behind-the-scenes angels" from Valley Hi Nursing Home, Hartland, bake cookies for dancers in the up coming 24-hour Easter Seal Dance-A-Thon. Bake for Dance-A-Thon It takes a lot of food to keep dancers dancing in the up coming 24-hour Easter Seal Dance-A-Thon and many area businesses and individuals have rallied to the cause. Also wishing to help, a group of Valley Hi residents, shown above, spent a few mornings together to bake cookies for the event which is slated at McHenry County College this Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 4 and 5. According to Jenny Van Treese, Public Relations Director for Easter Seals, "It goes without saying that Dance- A-Thon would be impossible if it weren't for the donations of food, prizes, entertainment, security and so much more that help make this event our largest annual fundraiser for the disabled of McHenry County."
