According to Shirley "Ran dolph, chairperson of the Parents Too Soon Inter-Agency Task Force. "The public- awareness campaign will make teen-agers throughout Illinois > aware of the services available to them through this unique program." Parents Too Soon is a multi- state-agency program that provides a variety of services to teen-agers who are pregnant, who already have children, or who want to postpone paren­ thood. The toll-free information number is 1-800-572-3270. Two area men were injured in a two car collision on Lincoln Road that occurred at 1:50 a.m. March 11. Andrew C. White, 4106 Riverview, McHenry, and Mark R. Vogt, 1510 North, McHenry, were taken to McHenry Hospital by Co. 1 of the fire department. Both men were listed in fair condition Monday afternoon. The county police report in­ dicated that the vehicle operated by White veered into the wesJbound lane of traffic and struck the Vogt auto. White said he saw headlights weaving from side-to-side and swerved to avoid them, when the collision occurred. Charges in the accident are pending, police said. Three people were injured in a p four-car accident at tbe in- ^ tersection of Chapel HiU' and J Lincoln Roads last Friday. James C. Covalt, 4217 Louisiana, Albequerque, NM, told county investigators he was driving south in an agitated stat&pf mind when the collision occurred. Tlie Covalt vehicle struck the rear of an auto stopped at the intersection driven by Steven P. Rossetti, 2306 Lillian Lane, Arlington Heights, IL. The Rossetti auto was pushed into a vehicle driven by Patricia E. Ridout, 2016 Grandview, McHenry. Covalt, Rossetti and a passenger in the Rossetti vehicle, Krist F. Stanell, 1318 Old Bay Road, McHenry, were taken to McHenry Hospital. Rossetti was listed in good condition and the others were treated and released. Covalt was charged with driving under the influence and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. Joseph F. Nootens, 4811 Shore Drive, McHenry, was cited for failure t to reduce speed to avoid an accident following a two-car collision at the intersection of Ramble Road and Elm Street. Nootens told McHenry Police he was responding to a rescue call and saw a vehicle stopped in the eastbound lante. He applied the brakes but was unable to avoid the collision.
