It does not affect the promotion of industry, as most industry wants to be near city services. It is best for all parties involved for in dustries to be near the services they sooner or later will require. EDWARD J. BUSS Edward J. "Something has to be done. I will probably support the results of the study now in progress. I do not believe that the county should operate whatever system is recommended by the study. I believe the citizenry would be better off if whatever system is decided upon is operated by private enterprise. I think it has been proven over the years that whenever government tries to operate something, it eventually costs the taxpayer additional money. 2. "It is my opinion that we need to have additional space as soon as possible. However, I think that we should build a dead- storage building separately, as the cost per square foot would be far less than incorporating it in a regular building. 3. I do know that there is a need for increased space for the jail and I have, in the past, approved the adding of modular cells at the north end. 3. "At the present time, there are over 20,000 vacant, residential lots in McHenry County, either platted or zoned for platting. Also, there is in excess of 1,000 acres zoned business and-or industrial in the unincorporated area of McHenry County, this does not include land within the cities and villages that are available for business and indusrty. In my opinion, there is no need to rezone any prime farmland in the forseeable future. WILLIAM J. FITZGERALD William J.
