Who would play Miss Henie? Dorothy Hamill would naturally fit the role well, and her manager says they are considering the idea "very carefully " FAR OUT -- Jamas Michaner's best-selling book "Space" will soon be a 13-hour CBS miniseries. Pro­ ducer Dick Barg is co-writing the script with Stirling Silliphant, who won an Oscar for his screenplay "In the Heat of the Night." Although the cast hasn't been announced, filming will begin in May and the locations are set for Los Angeles, San Diego, Houston, San Fran­ cisco, Washington D C. and London. MORE MICHENER -- ABC is hot for Michener, too. The network is developing Michener's soon-to-be-pub- lished novel, "Texas," into a 10-hour miniseries And that's not all ABC will also make Michener's "Poland" into a three-hour novel for television. The screenplay for "Poland" will be written by Joal Oliansky. Emmy- winner Oliansky also created the series "The Law." which made a star of Judd Hirsch.
