Sizes ranged from 10-18 inches. The total cost was 18,000. The northerns were put in at this size to help control the abundaiice of small perch in the lake. The. state laws require „ for sampling the lake water by VILLAGE BOARD MEETING During the April 24 board meeting, it was learned that there wfil be an annual fee of $50 that northerns must be at least 21 inches long before keeping. Hopefully, these fish will help make the lake better fishing for everyone. Hie club is also planning to stock more channel catfish this Spring. the McHenry County Dept. of Health. The board unanimously approved to pay the fee. <• Trustee Valentine reported that she issued five building permits during building and zoning reports. Work permits are needed oto a number of items such as wells\ septic placement, fences, room additions, cement work and many more. Our ESDA co-ordinator, Jim Hoffman, wfes available to give us a report On what is going on with our Civil Defense. Jim will be spending three days in Springfield attending all sorts of meetings. We are very lucky to have Jim as our co-ordinator.: • Road patching will probably start in May, reported Trustee John Morris.
