The hours will be Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.; and Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. This fund raiser will take place in eight classrooms and the gymnasium of Montini Middle School, 1405 N. Rich­ mond Rd. A special feature will be half- price bags on Friday and bags of clothing at a very low price Saturday. Induct officers install leaders ot voter league The Crystal Lake-McHenry League of Women Voters recently installed new officers for the year 1984-85. They are, seated from left to right, Judi Szilak, secretary and Barb Mam, president. Standing, left to right, Edna Fanning, Julie Jessup and Donna Schaefer, directors; and Judy Easterberg. Larry Nessett of Fox Lake Lodge was installed as the North Moose in charge of the Northern Illinois district at a ceremony in the McHenry Moose Lodge Saturday, May 12. Other officers of the lodge were also installed and new members were enrolled. Wives attended and were entertained by the Women of the Moose. A delicious dinner was served by the officers' wives. Proverbs 2:6 DAR holds luncheon installation Kishwaukee Trail Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will hold their annual spring luncheon Tuesday, May 22, at 11 a.m. at The Timbers restaurant, Woodstock. Preceding the installation of officers, Regent Amy Brink will present her annual report on the Continental Congress. New officers to be installed for 1984-85 include Mrs. Glenn Anderson, regent; Alice Clark, first vice regent; Mrs. Melvin Long, second vice regent; Mrs. Ellis Young, chaplain; Mrs. Leonard Belmonte, secretary; Leta Clark, treasurer; Mrs. Helen Wright, corresponding secretary; Mrs. William Langdon, registrar; and Mrs. Ray Wolf, historian. Luncheon will be served at 12:30 p.m., followed by a program of American folk music by Mrs. Kenneth Fiske. Wolf and Mrs. Donald Tappan will be the hostesses. The May roundtable meeting of District IV at Lombard was attended by Regent Brink, Anderson, Alice and Leta Clark, Mrs. Vivian Bassett and Mrs. William Pfeiffer. Annual 'Luncheon Out' slated June 5 At the May meeting of Marcia Mary Ball Circle of the United Methodist Women of the First United Methodist Church of McHenry plans were made for the annual "Luncheon Out" to be held Tuesday, June 5. A discussion was held on the annual circle picnic set for Tuesday, July 10, at noon, at the home of Helen Walters. A "White Elephant" sale will be featured to help replenish the treasury. The group unanimously agreed to donate $25 to the blanket fund for Church World Service; and send the usual birthday gift to Marcia Mary Ball (the missionary for whom the circle was named) who is now back in the United States, pastoring a church in Ohio. It was decided to reinstate the collection of "The Least Coin." a project of Church Women United. Mary Rose is making the study of Women of the Bible so interesting, everyone looks forward to each segment and truly appreciates the effort she puts into research and presentation. The circle will be in recess (with the exception of the lun­ cheon out and picnic) until Tuesday, Sept. 4, at noon, in the church parlor, with Mary Rose as hostess. Guests and newcomers are always welcome. Married in Waukegan Leisa Rae Weingart of Vernon Hills was married Sunday, May 6, to William Baillie West of Vernon Hills at the Chapel of Our Lady Christ Church, Waukegan, IL. Father William McCarthy officiated at the 3 p.m. nuptials. The bride is the daughter of William "Bud" and Nancy S. Weingart of 1410 W. Frances Ave., McHenry and the groom is the son of Bradford E. and Mary E. West of Waukegan. The bride wore a white two- tiered tea length dress with a Victorian lace-trimmed collar. A cascade of lace formed a V from the shoulders. The veil was wrapped around a picture hat fasting gently to the fingertips, and a blusher veiled her face. ' Sara Freund of McHenry, a sister of the bride, served as matron of honor, wearing a rose tea length dress with matching shoes. John Flesher of Waukegan was the best man and he wore a light grey three-piece suit. . The bride's mother chose a two-piece beige and cocoa en­ semble, accented with a beige hat with cocoa trim. The groom's mother wore a two- piece light blue combination. Following the ceremony, a reception for 100 guests was held at the Waukegan Yacht Club. The newlyWeds are making their home in Vernon Hills, following a honeymoon on a Caribbean cruise. The bride attended McHenry High School. The groom was graduated from Waukegan High School in 1970 and Fort Lauderdale University, Florida, in 1973. Mrs. West is a buyer for Motorola Co. in Schaumburg. Mr. West is with West Insurance in Waukegan. McHenry artist exhibits at fair George Bessier of McHenry will shire his skill at the "Spirit of *84 Arts and Crafts Fair" to be held Saturday, June 2, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Charles Street Presbyterian Church, 5304 Charles St., Rockford. The scheduled raindate is Saturday, June 9. The eleventh year of this annual event sponsored by the church, promises to provide a wide variety of all areas of arts and crafts including wood, jewelry, floral, handicrafts, "Mrs. watercolors, stained glass, graphics, leather, drawings and many more. A food booth will offer bar- beques, ^ chips, beans, sauerkraut, brats, nachoes, hot dogs and soft drinks beginning at 11 a.m. A baked goods booth stocked by members of the church will cater to everyone's sweet tooth. The couple graduated from Illinois State University in May of this year. They will make their home in Arizona after the wedding. DATES JUNE 4, 1984 THRU AUG. 10, 1984 Prepare for berry festival The annual Strawberry Festival sponsored by the senior citizens will take place Satur­ day, June 23, on Broadway street in Richmond. The seniors prepare for this event by picking the berries in a group effort. Then they bake a wide variety of strawberrry goodies, sell fresh berries and serve old fashioned strawberry shortcake on homemade biscuits, heaped with whipped cream. Some come dressed in authentic old fashioned outfits and Miss Strawberry Shortcake has also been known to show up for the occasion. This day is one the entire family can eqjoy.
