Women's 16-inch RIVER SHANNON 16, GREG'S NEVER INN 2 - Shannon plated 10 runs in the second, the big hit a homer by Lora Jacobs, and went on to win easily. Victorious in Flight I was Virginia Turner, defeating Judy Smithson. In Flight n, Linda Puccio downed Evie Castle. Flight m saw Carol Bolger beat Ethel Koehler. Roni Cepulis was the Flight IV champ, as she beat Betty Wayman. The event for the other golfers was tee to green. The winners were: Class A - Carol Cooney. Following Carol were Lynn Sch­ midt and Alvina Yopp, who tied for second. In Class B, first [dace wait to Joan Blair, followed by Gloria Otth, second, and Evie Castle third. Class C honors went to Kathy Vehring. Kathy finished ahead of Ruth Heisel and Speedy Neuman. Physicals given at East McHenry High School will conduct its physical day for all Warrior athletes Monday, July 16 at 6 p.m. The program will take place at East Campus. Hie physicals will he given by Dr. Jim Mowery and other local physicians. The session will last until all physicals are completed. McHenry athletes entering their sophomore, junior or senior year, are invited. The cost is S10. Ardis Miller won Class Dv Dee Chelini second and Lottie Koch third. Kathy Vehring and Speedy Neuman took Class C honors with 68, and the two tied with Ursula Cisliek for low putts with 31 each. In Class D acticn, Ardis Miller won low net with 67, and Lottie Koch was second with 79. Barbara Vejvoda won low putts with 35. There were a number of birdies and chip-ins. Joan Buss was the star, with birds on 6, 10 and 14. Floss Miller had one on 12, Dorothy Shadel on 18, Kathy Vehring on 14, Joan Schloskey on 14, Lynn Schmidt on 6, Virginia Turner on 8, and Carol Cooney on 15.
