Members of the congregation were asked to make a donation for this project and families contacted to date have pledged over a quarter of a million dollars. The campaign director, the Reverend J. Wallace Carlson of Kansas City, indicated that it was an overwhelming response and showed the confidence of church members toward the future of the church. The campaign was ably ad ministered by Marianna Wolfmeyer and assisted by other committee members including Jim Heffelfinger, Cindy Swartzloff, Nancy Brothers, Dick DeVries, Bill Dodds and Earl VanDeWege. Plans are taking shape and the building committee is hopeful that it might be possible to break ground this fall. Faith offers a wide variety of programs including youth club for every age group, five weekly Bible studies and special family activities. Worship services are each Sunday at 8:30 a.m. (where communion is served weekly) and 10.45 a.m. The church is located at the intersection of Lincoln and Chapel Hill roads and visitors are warmly en couraged to attend.
