The officers and directors are pleased to greet you through this special Fair Guide. Many people have worked diligently to compile the infor mation, provide the photographs, obtain the advertising and produce this Fair Guide. Don Peasley, fair public relations director for more than two decades, and Jeff Waalkes, editor of the Daily Sentinel have .coordinated the production of this Fair Guide to provide advance information about attractions and exhibitors. This guide also will be useful when attending the fair Aug. 1-5 at Woodstock. Visitors will notice several improvements. A major one in cludes the more rapid parking, then admission through a gate in the new fence which has been constructed across the grounds for safety and pedestrian control. The old goat barn has been removed. A one-time dairy barn has become the goat headquarters. Expanded exhibit facilities make more commercial and educational exhibits possible. We hope you'll take time to enjoy the fair. It is a great showcase for 4-Ht junior and senior exhibitors. And it is a great place to greet your friends as you walk among the exhibits or enjoy refreshments at the food stand.
