AND MRS Spent honeymoon in Jamaica Following their exchange of wedding vows June 9, the for mer Terilee Armon and John H. Moehling embarked on a one- week honeymoon in Jamaica. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William T. Mullen, 1509 W. May St., McHenry. Mr. and Mrs. Glenn R. Moehling, 3804 N. Spring Grove Rd., McHenry, are the parents of the bridegroom. Father John Holdren presided ovier the 3 p.m. ceremony in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Johnsburg, before an altar decorated with baskets of white chrysanthemums and daisies, accented with green ferns. Appropriate musical selections were offered by Fred Schubkegel, accompanied by Barb Brodin. Hie bride wore a gown styled with a laced, sequined bodice, featuring a Queen Ann neckline and long, puffed sleeves, gathered at the elbow with white bows. Ifte natural waistline was girded with a silk sash and the skirt flowed into a chapel train. A white bridal wreath headpiece adorned her hair. Attending the bride as maid of honor was Marikay Armon of McHepry. Bridesmaids were Gerianne D'Angelo of Hillsboro, Jeanne Toppert of Hillsdale, Denise Schubkegel of Chicago and Ann Moehling of McHenry. Attendants were attired in lavender dresses, fashioned with a white lace overlay. The ruffled neckline was designed to be worn on or off the shoulders and a highlight of the ensemble was a bustle in the back. They carried white baskets of sterling roses, white carnations and daisies. f Handling the duties tyf best man was Glenn Moehling of Paducah, Ky. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois and is an engineer. They are making their home in Woodridge, 111. During the year, the salon contributes to the American Legion Child Welfare Foun dation, National Jewish Hospital, Children's Memorial Hospital, National Cystic Fibrosis Research Foundation of Northern Illinois and American Lung Association of DuPage and McHenry counties. Also, a donation is made to the Nurses Scholarship Fund and many other organizations. Partners in the Eight and Forty are members of the American Legion Auxiliary who have done outstanding service in the organization. Past Chapeau, Betty Lingenfelter, thanked all her officers and chairmen for their cooperation during her year. Presentations were made to her from her chairmen, including photo book, Mary Siewerth; red book, Jean Lucarz; memory book, Margaret Datz; history book, L'Archiviste, Becky Gabel and book of prayers; L'Aumonier, Iolene Biangardi. Pouvoir member Arlene Mattingly presented an award to publicity chairman, Ruth Mrachek, for her publicity book which took first place at the La Marche Departemental held recently in Springfield, HI. The book has been sent in for competition at the La Marche Nationale, which will be held in Salt Lake City, Utah, Sept. S. It was announced that Mabel Schultz, Huntley, was elected to the office of Departemental La Concierge for the year 1984-85. HUGO MANFREDI Celebrate 50 years together Kathryn and Hugo Manfredi of McHenry will celebrate their fiftieth wedding anniversary Saturday, Sept. 1, by renewing their marriage vows during a 12 p.m. Mass in St. Isadore Church, Bloomingdale. Immediately following the ceremony, a reception by in vitation for friends and relatives will be held in the church hall. Hie Manfredis were married in Chicago Sept. 1, 1934, in St. Cyril Church. They have been blessed with three daughters, Mrs. Jim (Donna) Steed, Memphis, Tenn.; Mrs. Walter (Carolyn) Scott, Decatur, HI.; and Mrs. Lawrence (Barbara) Her- mreck, Carol Stream, 111.; and nine grandchildren. Mr. Manfredi worked in Shell service stations for 47 years, retiring 11 years ago, when they moved to McHenry from Chicago. They purchased the first new condominium built in Whispering Oaks. Both are members of St. Patrick Catholic Church, McHenry ; and he belongs to the Moose Lodge and Knights of Columbus, 4th degree, recently receiving his 25-year pin.
