Congdon, both McHenry; Deaths George Flotz, Sr. George Flotz, Sr., 80, 4516 Hilltop Dr . Wonder Lake, died Tuesday, Aug. 28, 1984, at Northern Illinois Medical Center, McHenry. He was born Nov. 17, 1903 in Yugoslavia, to George and Maria (Roth) Flotz. Mr. Flotz was a retired machinist for Federal Die Casting, Chicago ; and had been director of the Indian Ridge Improvement Association, Wonder Lake. On May 13, 1924, in Yugoslavia, he married the former Anna Weiland, who' survives. Other survivors are two sons. Larry, Wonder Lake L and George, Jr., Calumet City; nine grandchildren; one great* grandchild; and a daughter-in- law, Mrs. Henry (Gayle) Klick, River Grove. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Frank and Simon; and a son John. Visitation was from 3 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Freund Funeral Home, Wonder Lake. A Funeral Mass was offered at 10 a.m. Thursday in Christ the King Catholic Church, Wonder Lake, with burial in the church cemetery. He was born Nov. 10,1923. in Chicago, to Bernhard and Edna (Eich- meyer) Kopp. A resident of McHenry Township 30 years, Mr. Kopp was an employee of Illinois Coil Springs. McHenry, as a tool and die maker, for one and a half years prior to his death. He had worked for Oaks Industries four years; Sun Electric, Crystal Lake, as a maintenance foreman eight years; and Modine Mfg., Ringwood 11 years. He was a veteran of WW n and was an- auxiliary sheriff's deputy for McHenry County under Sheriff John Tyrrell.
