Catherine Wieser Catherine Wieser, 79, 4303 Crestwood, McHenry, died Sunday, Sept. 16, 1984, in Nor­ thern Illinois Medical Center, McHenry. She was born July 3, 1905, in Saberi Liget, Rumania, the daughter of Joseph and Mary (Krempl) Merle. A 40-year McHenry area resident, Mrs. Wieser had farmed with her husband in the Ringwood area. She was a member of St. Mary's Church. On Feb. 21, 1925, in Chicago, she married Anton Wieser, who survives. Also surviving is a daughter, Helen Schneeweiss, Chicago; a son, Michael, McHenry; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, and a brother, John Merle, Chicago. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Catherine; her parents and a brother, Joseph. Visitation will be after 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in the George R. Justen and Son funeral home. A resident of McHenry for 40 years, Mrs. Frasemer was an employee of CRV Electronics in McHenry and prior to that with Precision Twist in Spring Grove. Urchyshen William R. "Urchen" Ur­ chyshen, 82, of McHenry, died Friday, Sept. 14, 1984, in Oak Paris Hospital, Oak Park. He was born in Poland, April 20, 1902, the son of Michael and Marcella (Dyndewcz) Ur­ chyshen. Mr. Urchyshen lived in McHenry about 16 years, having come from Cicero, Dl. He was a retired machinist. On Dec. 31, 1935, in Calumet City, he married the former Harriett Stock, who survives. Other survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Alec (Kay) Monaster, Komarno, Manitoba, Canada, and Mrs. Rose Radomski, Milwaukee,'Wis, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Joseph, and two sisters, Frances Ur­ chyshen and Mary Pillar. He was born Oct. 23, 1922, in Arlington Heights, the son of William and Winifred (Kerrigan) Harms. On Jan. 19, 1946, in Buffalo Grove, he married Shirley Bartman, who survives. Cole Wano Leota (Cole) Sturdy, 76, of Rogers, Ark. and well-known in the McHenry area, died Tuesday, Sfcpt. 11, 1984 at the home of her daughter, following a lengthy illness. She was born Dec. 9, 1907 in Chicago, the daughter of Franklin and Effie (Judson) Cole. She married Alan H. Sturdy in Chicago Oct. 4,1929, and he died Mar. 13, 1983. Mrs. Sturdy, formerly of Biltmore-Barrington and Woodstock, attended the Chicago Art Institute, American Academy of Fine Arts, Chicago; had been a commercial and water color artist, and was active with the Woodstock Opera House. In addition to her daughter, Mrs. Harold (Lynn) King, Brownsville, Wis., she is sur­ vived by a son David, Clarendon Hills; six grandchildren; two brothers, Gerard and Franklin Judson Cole. Lakeview, McHenry, was dead on arrival Thursday, Sept. 13, 1984, at Northern Illinois Medical Center, McHenry. He was born Sept. 16, 1911 in Arlington Heights. A resident of McHenry Township the past 13 years, formerly of Palatine, HI., Mr. Behrens was employed over 20 years as a powder blender for the Magnaflux Co., Norwood, HI. Surviving are his wife Elsie (Vorlik) whom he married Dec. 29, 1950 in Chicago; and dear friends and neighbors v James and Kathy Jablonski of McHenry. Nicholls, 78, Marengo, formerly of Island Lake, died Thursday, Sept. 13, 1984, at Good Shepherd Hospital, Barrington. Born May 15,1906 in Wauconda, Mr. Nicholls was the son of William and Myrtie (Clark) Nicholls. Mr. Nicholls was employed by the Barrington school system until retirement and is survived by his wife, Marie E. (Heyers), and a former wife, Mabel Nicholls. Also surviving are 15 children: Cheryl Lynn Nicholls, Marengo; Lauren (Karen) Nicholls, Crystal Lake; Marjorie Rossman, Cary; Ralph (Pat) Nicholls, Island Lake; Joyce (Bob) Nystrom, Bar- reville; Ardene (Joe) Raven, McHenry; Eugene (Shirley) Nicholls, Beaumont, Calif.; Carolyn (Flwian) Schmitt, Chehalis, Wash. Vandalism at Parkland brings arrests Plaindealer News Service McHenry Police arrested two men in connection with van­ dalism that occurred last week at Parkland School in McHenry. Following an investigation conducted by Off. William Brogan, Robert B. Bunday, 17, 2405 N. Lakeview, and Scott A. Arrests made Bo we, 18, 404 N. Queen Anne Road, Woodstock, were charged with reportedly breaking 10 windows at the school. Damage was estimated at greater than $1,700. Police Chief George Pasenelli said the arrests came as the result of "good, solid police work." Patzke of McHenry died Thursday, Sept. 13, at his home. He was 51, born in Chicago Sept. 13,1933, the son of Carl and Frances (Krause) Patzke. A building contractor, Mr. Patzke, had owned and operated Patzke Construction, McHenry. He was a member of Woodstock and McHenry gun clubs and a lifetime member of the Amateur Trap Shooting Assn. Surviving are his wife Lona (Nowak); three daughters, Mrs. Kevin (Sandra) Summers of McHenry, Cheri and Cindy Patzke, both at home; two grandchildren, Jason and Teryn Summers; his mother, of McHenry; two sisters, Mrs. John (June) Milinac of Klamath Falls, Ore. and Shirley Brochrogge of Crystal Lake; and a twin brother Jack (Rose) Patzke of Antioch, 111. He was preceded in death by his father Carl. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, in the Three men were arrested Sunday when they were caught attempting to remove the drive shaft of a car parked at Oaks Marathon, 4608 Crystal Lake Road, McHenry. Park St., McHenry, was arrested by McHenry Police for making an improper turn and driving under the influence. -Police also arrested James L. Landini, 45,1706 W. Fullerton, Chicago, on charges of driving with a suspended license and unlawful use of a license following a traffic stop last Sunday.
