John 05 , Notices b# NOTICE The City of McHenry is undertakirlg a fire hydrant flushing operation throughout the City for two weeks, beginning Tuesday, October 2, 1984. Flushing will take place on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of those two weeks. The flushing of hydrants is being done to clean the City's water distribution system. The schedule will be as follows: on October 2, 3 and 4, hydrants will be flushed on the east side of the railroad tracks to the Fox River. On October 9, 10 and 11, flushing will take place on the west side of the railroad tracks to the City limits. During periods of hydrant flushing, water within the water mains can become discolored (a red color) due to the materials being removed from the water mains. While this discoloration does not effect human consumption, a possibility exists that the red water can stain clothes being laundered during periods of fire hydrant flushing. Your cooperation and patience during this period is requested and will be ap preciated. . WILL BABYSIT In my Crystal Lake home. Lots of TLC, full or part time, 7 am to 5 pm, 815/459-9177, Lorl.
