They spent five days camping at Fort Wilderness in t4 Disney World, which gave them access to Disney World and Epcot Center. Peggy says this is where to see that fantastic world, with the easiest access and least expense. They en joyed the Polynesian Revue, Matthew drove a speed boat in the lake, horses were ridden, Pluto was going to eat Matt, plus a visit to the Contemporary Hotel. Leaving Disney World, the Gorski's spent three nights in Fort DeSota. They were en thralled with the Bush Gardens, went to Sea World and saw killer whale Shamu, and swam in the salty Gulf water. Peggy, Paul and Matt returned to their home in • Lakemoor on the 28th, to be met by husband and father Al. It was a thoroughly enjoyable trip and Peggy didn't even mind driving all the way. Al and the family are looking forward to the next vacation, when he will also be included. BIRTHPLACE VISIT Anne DeCicco and her husband Ben returned to the Island of Newfoundland where Anne was born for a month's visit. Anne's sister and brother and their families still live in this newest of Canadian Provinces, so it was a happy time of remembering for all. The DeCicco's stayed with Anne's brother, whose home had been her home when Ben came to Newfoundland in 1943, as a member of the armed forces. The DeCicco's were married in Newfoundland in 1943, and this was their third return trip. Mouth watering fresh caught cod were eaten, cod tongues with the texture and flavor of scallops were enjoyed, plus fresh caught lobsters. Anne took a picture of Ben with a cod that had just been brought in, showing all of the cod and the bottom half of Ben! The names of the towns are a constant source of enjoyment. There is Heart's Content, Heart's Delight, Fortune, Witless Day, and Butterpot Park. Ben and Anne were ready to remain in that picturesque country of hills, trees and waters. But back to the days of retirement in Lakemoor with the enchanting island of Newfoundland attached to their heartstrings forever. COMING EVENTS Oct. 4 to 13- Arts Week at the McHenry Nunda Library.
