Deaths , Tickets are now on sale lor "The Physician in Spite of Himself," to be presented in the McHenry County CoUege Black Box Theatre Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Oct. 18,19,20 and Oct. 25,26,27 at 8 p.m.; and Sunday, Oct. 21 at 2 p.m. Written by Moliere in 1666, the comedy concerns a woodcutter, Sganarelle, who is the victim of a pracUcal Joke instigated by his wife, Martine. She convinces a rich aristocrat that Sganarelle is a learned doctor. The man hires him to cure his daughter, who is mute, (pretending to be so as to avoid an unwelcome marriage). For a while, chaos reigns, but all is eventually happily resolved, after ft large number of comic an tics and plot reversals. General admission is |4, students and senior citizens pay 83. Briefs James F. Costello James F. Costello, 91, of Elgin, 111. died Wednesday, Oct. 10, 1984 in St. Joseph Hospital, Elgin. He was born Feb. 22,1893, in McHenry, the son of Patrick and Bridget (Walsh) Costello. Mr. Costello had been a resident of Elgin most of his life and was a heavy equipment operating engineer before retiring. A WW I army veteran, he belonged to St. MMary's Catholic Church, Elgin; American Legion Post 57 of Elgin; and International Union of Operating Engineers Local 150. Surviving are his wife Nan (Wright); a daughter, Mary Ann Rotello of Rockford; two sons, James L. of Stream wood, 111. and John of Novi, Mich.; 15 grandchildren; and four Solomon Komorow . Solomon Komorow, 87, of 8906 Shady Lane, Wonder Lake, died Tuesday, Oct. 9, 1984, in* Rosewood Hospital, Houston, Tex. He was born July 28, 1897, in Russia. Mr. Komorow had been a resident of Wonder Lake the past 20 years, formerly of Chicago. He came from Russia in the early 1900's; became a U.S. citizen; and was a dry cleaner most of his life. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. James (Marion) Schladt of Wonder Lake; two grand children and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Pearl, Nov. 14,1976; a grandson Robert, Oct. 1, 1954; and his parents. Visitation was from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday, at the George R. Justen & Son Funeral Home, where funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, by the Rev. Roger Olson of Nativity Lutheran Church. Interment will be in Crystal Lake Memorial Cemetery. Memorials are requested to the Wonder Lake Rescue Squad or the McHenry County Heart Fund. Grace J. Hubbell Grace J. Hubbell, 86, of 216 S. Park Rd., Lake moor, McHenry, died Tuesday, Oct. 9, 1984, in Burlington Memorial Hospital, Turlington, Wis. She was born -Nov. 8, 1897, in Chicago, to Frank and Rebecca (Morgan) Hubbell. A summer resident of Wonder Lake over 38 years, Mrs. Hubbell had been a permanent resident since 1970. She was employed by the Archdiocese of Chicago as a music director for St. Agnes and Our Lady of Sorrows churches; and was a music director for the Chicago Park District. She was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Church, McHenry. Surviving are her sister, Mary Hubbell of Lakemoor ; a niece and four nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers; and one sister. There was no visitation at the George R. Justen & Son Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at noon Friday, in St. Mary's church, and interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Evanston, 111. Memorials are requested to Our Lady of Sorrows church, Chicago grandchildren. He was preceded in death by bis parents;, three sisters, Elizabeth Costello, Margaret Westerman and Mary Beverly; two brothers, Robert and John Costello; and one grandson, John Michael Costello. Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, at the Laird Funeral Home, 310 S. State St., Elgin, followed by a Mass at 9 in St. Mary's church and burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Elgin. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, where a Rosary will be recited at 7:30. Visitation is also slated for Saturday morning, until the time of services.
