The 390 acre site has been undergoing extensive redevelo- ment by the McHenry County Con­ servation District for the last two months. New and improved facilities^ include a new picnic ground and shelter overlooking the lake, new group and individual site camping areas, and upgraded roads and sanitary facilities. A unique feature of the reopen­ ing will be the participation of the charters trustees of the district who are holding their 13th reu­ nion. The public is invited to bring a picnic lunch, fishing pole, or hik­ ing shoes and help celebrate the event. Rush Creek is located l mile east of the Junction of U.S. Route 14 and McGuire Road south of Harvard. Entrance signs are on McGuire Road.
