ALAN WAGNER The former Jackie Moore and Alan Wagner were united in marriage Sept. 22, the same day they first met three years ago. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Moore,. 25 Fairfax Road, Fox Lake, HI. Mr. and Mrs. Le Roy Wagner of McHenry are the parents of the bridegroom. 1 Father James Gay officiated at the 2:90 p.m. Nuptial Mass in St. Maty of the Assumption Catholic Church, McHenry. The setting was enhanced with Sonia roses, snowdrifts and car- nations. Appropriate music was provided by Celeste Mann of McHenry. The bride wore a chiffon wedding gown, fashioned with an illusion neckline and leg of mutton sleeves. The bodice of Alencon lace was embellished with seed pearls. The skirt and chapel length train was bor­ dered with lace and her veil was secured to a lace cap, adorned with lace appliques. Attending the bride as maid of honor was her friend, Deira Covert of Round Lake, 111. Bridesmaids were Delores Perry of Round Lake and De Ann Colby of South Beloit, HI. Attendants were attired in taffeta dresses, highlighted with an illusion neckline and ruffles shaping a bustle in the back. The groom's niece, Kelly Wagner, was the flower girl, and his nephew, Jeffrey Marciniak, was the ring bearer. Handling the duties of best man was the groom's friend, Paul Knapik of McHenry. Groomsmen were the bride's brother, Roy Moore, and the groom's brother, Brian Wagner. A reception, hosted by the couple's parents, was held in the Johnsburg Community Club, where 150 guests enjoyed a buffet dinner, followed by dancing to live music. The newlyweds established residency in Fox Lake upon their return from a honeymoon in Penn Hills in the Pocono Mountains. The bride is employed at Intermatic, Inc., Spring Grove. The groom is a carpenter for Al- Bob Construction, McHenry. Social Briefs CRAFT FAIR-LUNCHEON Saturday, Oct. 27, the First Congregational Church of Huntley will hold a craft fair from 9 a.m. to 4*p.m., with over 20 crafters participating; and a salad luncheon served at 11:30 a.m., 12:15 and 1 p.m. Tickets for the lunch are $4 and may be obtained by calling 669-5624. They may be reserved and picked up the day of the lunch. Some will be available at the door. Mission Team (Executive Committee) of the United Methodist Women of the First United Methodist Church of McHenry was a busy one, as final plans were made for the annual Fall Church Rummage Sale and the annual Fall Bazaar and Christmas Sale. Many other important items ^were also discussed, and circle chairmen were asked to remind members of the coming events; secure volunteers to work where needed; and make reservations promptly. The next meeting will be Monday, Nov. 5, at 9:30 a.m., in the church parlor. Nurses hold fall meeting Nov. 7 The Northeastern Division of the Illinois Association of School Nurses will hold its annual Fall dinner and meeting Wednesday, Nov. 7: It will be held at Fisherman's Inn, Elburn, 111., with dinner being served at 6:30 p.m. The program for the evening will be presented by Dianne Fochtman, R.N., M.N., from the Hematology and Oncology Unit of Children's Memorial Hospital. The 2:30 p.m. double ring celebration was presided over by Father Frank Melchior. The bride is the daughter of Edward and Diana Skidmore, former residents of Wonder Lake, presently living in Mountain, Wis. Fred and Betty Milquette, also of Mountain, are the parents of the bridegroom. Assisting her friend as maid of honor was Cheryl Jazwiecki of Mountain. Bridesmaids were the bride's sisters. They are making their tym? in the Knollwood Trailer Court, Suring. • Womens club holds an early meeting The Pistakee Highlands Woman's Club will hold its October meeting one week earlier than usual, due to Halloween falling on the regular meeting date, which is usually the last week of each month. The date is Wednesay, Oct. 24, at 6:30 p.m., and it will be a potluck Halloween party. Everyone is requested to bring a dish to pass and come in costume. Membership dues are payable that night, and all area women are invited to join. The dues are $6 per year. For further information on membership, call 497-3233 after 4 p.m. Also, the group will sponsor a pumpkin decorating contest Saturday, Oct. 27, at 10:80 a.m., in the Pistakee Highlands, Community Center.'
