HALLOWEEN FUN NITE A Halloween Fun Night will be held for students and pre­ schoolers Oct. 31, from 5 to 8:30 p.m., at Bush Elementary School. Parents are encouraged to consider this as a safer alternative to trick-or-treating. There are planned activities of games, films, spook house and supper-time refreshements. Again, there will be costume and pumpkin decorating contests with cash prizes. Levels for both contests are pre-school, kin­ dergarten, first grade, second, third, fourth, fifth, and sixth grade and older. CONGRATULATIONS "Happy Birthday" to Alice Walker, Karen Bazilewich, Gian Piero Capizzi, Mrs. Linda Ferrara, and Michael Silga, all on Nov. 1. Nov. 2 is that special day for Cori Lynn Crocfer (way out there in California) Vic Hopp and Muriel Benoy. George Lehman will celebrate his special day Nov. 3; with Christine Decker and Katie doing the same Nov. 4. Nov. 5 finds Wanda Bistolfo, James Funk and Sharon McGowan all adding another candle to their cakes; as Guy Winters will do Nov. 6.
