His associate and sister-in-law, Daisy Lloyd, played by . Deborah Adair, his able and trusted office manager, Rita Hargrove (Anne Jeffreys). and an energetic young male sidekick. Brian Fletcher (Richard Kantor). all lend helping hands Daisy, it seems, has secret feelings for a not-so- lost love of her own -- the man she works with, Cary Maxwell "There ts a deep feeling of warmth between the two," Franciosa says. % The actor has been in show business for over 30 years. He has given a number of distinguished performances in plays, movies and television, including his previous series "Valentine's Day," "The Name of the Game," "Search" and "Malt Helm." "My preference is doing theater. For too many years I excluded theater. I would have liked to have done more classics. Shakespeare, like I did in the past." Yet with the variety of roles he has done, Franciosa still considers a Clifford Odets play he did years ago to be one of his greatest accomplishments.
