Senator Charles Percy ADVANTAGE: JOBS An Effective Leader Chuck Percy has always been a leader • in school, in business, and now in the U.S. Senate. At age ten. Chuck was selling newspapers, magazines, and his mother's home-baked cookies to ttfelp the family make ends meet during the Depression. Chuck worked his way through the University of Chicago and won the highest honor given to a member of the senior class.
