There will be many handmade items for Christmas giving, as well as ornaments. Triis is the first year the ladies will have dried materials and pine cones available for fall floral pieces. There will be a baked goods booth and the regular homemade candy booth. A snack counter will also be available for the hungry shopper. Next Saturday, Nov. 10, will be the roast beef dinner, with serving times at 5, 6 and 7 p.m. If you still need tickets, you may call 728-0222,385-7646, 385-8037 or 338-3178. CHARGE CONFERENCE The annual Charge Con­ ference for Greenwood- Ringwood parish will be held Sunday, Nov. 4, in the Ringwood church. The combined choir will meet at 4:15 in the afternoon for practice; registration for the session will start at 4:45. There will be a potluck supper at 6:15. CIA BAKE SALE OK The Lakemoor Civic and Improvement Association is grateful to all the donors for their contributions to the suc­ cess of the bake sale held last Friday and Saturday. Alden, Ingleside and Spring Grove. VISITORS Recently, Tom and Maya Walkington met his parents, Paul and Althea, at Legend Lake, Wisi, for a very enjoyable weekend of relaxing and visiting. The. younger Walkingtons live in Eagan, Minn., near St. Paul. Tom is presently working for Parks and Recreation in Minneapolis, while Maya does nursing duty at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Minneapolis. Art and Katy Christopher spent last weekend in Goshen, Ind., visiting her sister and brother-in-law, Mildred and John Hamilton, who are residents in a retirement home there. Sherri Cristy spent last weekend with her parents, Shirley and Bill Cristy. Sherri is a student at Millikin university, in her second year. BIRTHDAY IN OMAHA It was really a second celebration for Ila Hogan when she visited her daughter and family in Omaha, Mary and Earl Sonnemaker. Ila's family here celebrated her birthday by taking her out to dinner a week ago. John Hogan of Mountain, Wis., and Mary, were unable to attend that gathering, so the Son- nemakers asked her to come out to celebrate again with two of their sons, Randy and Jeffrey, who also celebrate in October. Nancy Parsley accompanied her grandmother on the drive west. To bring everyone up-to-date on the Sonnemaker's children, Randy is a C.P.A.; Jeffrey, a student; Scott is in the navy and going to school; and daughter Cheryle is a commissioned nurse in the navy. This is one of the honors given to the women who have served their Women of the Moose Chapter as Senior Regent.
