McCuDom Lake: Invite all to craft fair by local teachers Some of our local talent will be hosting a craft show Saturday, Dec. 8, starting at 8 a.m. through 4 p.m. at the beach house.. There will be homemade items and baked goods. Why not take a stroll to the beach house, and maybe you can pick up some Christmas gifts. BOARD MEETING Ordinance number 164A was passed and approved by the board at the Nov. 27 meeting. It was also a unanimous decision to grant the Conservation Club a two-day liquor license, for the annual Fish Derby to take place Jan. 12 and 13 at the beach, of course. Each day at the derby, prizes will be awafded. There will also be refreshments, bait for sale and fishing licenses for sale. Trustee Morris reported that he had received five ap plications for the position of maintenance man. He is in terviewing all who applied. Trustee Valentine issued one permit during the last two weeks. Her number is 385-4903 and she will be happy to answer any questions. The next board meeting will be Dec. 11. Why not plan on attending. TOPS The TOPS group here in the village is having a recruiting irive for new members, v cquie, 344-4384 has lost 30 pounds and would be glad to help you lose your extra pounds. They meet Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. at the beach house, and Dawn Miller 385-4901 BEACH GALS CHRISTMAS The deadline for letters for Santa is Dec. 15. Remember the address is 2805 Beach View. The children's Christmas party will also be that day starting at 1 p.m. and lasting until 3 p.m. at the beach house. Refreshments will be ^served and cookie donations will be gladly ac cepted. The club will be presenting a children's play with local talent. The rehearsal schedule is as follows: Monday, Dec. 3- 6:30 p.m.; Monday, Dec. 10- 6:30 p.m.; Thursday, Dec. 13- 6 p.m. and Friday, Dec. 14, 6:30 p.m. for dress rehearsal. All rehearsals are to take place at the beach house. Also, the set-up for the Christmas party is Thursday, Dec. 13, at 9:30 a.m. The members Christmas party is to take place Thursday, Dec. 6, at a local restaurant. If you need a ride, meet at the beach house at 6:30 p.m. otherwise, meet at the restaurant at 7 p.m. Have a good time, girls. Santa will be on hand to distribute presents, and refreshments will be ser ved. The names and ages of the children attending must be turned in to the Legion no later than Dec. 9, so that Santa can do his shopping! NEW OWNERS Dusty's Pizza now has new owner's, Val and Ray. Don and Pat will be missed, but I'm sure they will enjoy a little more freedom to travel or do as they please now that business demands are taken from them. PASSES AWAY Marge Wunderlich of White Oaks Bay passed away Thanksgiving day in her home. She had been feeling under the weather for only a few days and then was found dead by a friend.
