"Addy is someone who has been very well educated, she's Phi Beta Kappa, yet she is in a way naive about the real world A lot of her learning is from books, not real life -- but at the same time she's a very interest­ ing character Nell's character and my character started out as rivals." the actress continues "Addy was always the smart one and Nell was always the popular one But now the writers have left a lot of room for Addy and Nell to grow up together Together they remind me of Ethel and Lucy That's hew we feel about ourselves, the way we play off of each other I think of course we're different charac­ ters That s the kind of relationship Nell and I are bringing to the show."
