The Rev. Edward Bergen presided over the nuptials before an altar bedecked with arrangements of gladioli, pomps and carnations in rust and tailsmen colors to match the attendants' bouquets. Vess Duro, a friend of the groom, played the guitar and sang "The Wedding Song," "Here I am, Lord," and. "Morning Has Broken." Scripture readings were given by the groom's sister, Mary Prazak-Santi. The bride wore a full length silk taffeta gown fashioned with a deep V cut in front and back, enhancechby off-the-shoulder ruffles; and delicately trimmed with Venice «lace. The detachable chapel length train was edged with a special scallop design. Her headpiece was an original, of silk flowers, designed in free form style, securing a fashionable pouf of tulle netting. She carried an English, oval bouquet of rubrum lilies and miniature carnatioris; and her mother's pearl necklace added the finishing touch. The maid of honor was a childhood friend of the bride, Mrs. Joannie Gerhardt of In dianapolis, Ind. Bridesmaids were the bride's sister, Mrs. Debra Will of Chicago; the groom's sister, Patricia Santi of McHenry; and the bride's college friend, Mrs. Anne Matthies of Lombard, 111. Attendants were attired in full length, iridescent wine taffeta gowns with long sleeves, scoop neckline and fitted bodice. Rust daisy pomps, yarrow and baby's breath graced their hair; and they carried nosegays of deep rust daisy pom poms, tailsmen regular icebergs, yarrow, baby's breath and rust streamers. The flower girl was the bnde's niece and godchild, Kristen Will. She wore a handmade, knee length dress of wine taffeta, accented by a white pinafore. Rust daisy pomps, yarrow, baby's breath and rust streamers flowing down the back crowned her head; and she carried a basket of flowers, similar to the'bridesmaids', as she scattered petals down the aisle. * The groom's friend, Raul Viteri of Crystal Lake, handled the duties of best man. Groomsmen were the groan's brother, Michael Santi of McHenry, the bride's brother/ David Bertulis of Oak Lawn, and the groom's college friend, Barry Brandwein of Skokie, HI. The groom's brother, Gino Santi, and the bride's brother-in- law, Michael Will, served as ushers. All wore charcoal gray tuxedos with white ribbed shirts, burgundy bow ties and cum merbunds. They had bouton- nieres of tailsmen iceberg pomps and baby's breath; and the groom's was a red rose and baby's breath. The mother of the bride chose a full length, dusty rose crepe gown. A full length mauve gown, complemented by a matching embroidered jacket, was the choice of the groom's mother. A reception for 160 guests was held at John Evans Inn, Crystal Lake. The new Mrs. Santi graduated from Luther South High School, Chicago, in 1975; Bradley University, Peoria, HI. in 1979; and is the managing editor of the McHenry Plaindealer-Herald. Her husband graduated from McHenry Community High School in 19/o, .Jrake University in 1960; and is a production coordinator for Centel Cable Television. , ;y are making their home 115 W.
