Louise Rogers has announced that the 1984 United Way Annual >; Campaign reached a new annual during the week Rogers stated: "We are delighted that our annual campaign has set a new annual local riving record for the seventh consecutive year. 'i'--- continue their efforts to increase total giving to this campaign until the campaign ends.' • nl OUR GOAL 915,000 John Wittmus, ornamental horticulture instructor at McHenry County College, is in Holland for the Dutch Design Blasters International Design School World Conference, being held through Feb. 3 at the Leeuwenhorst Congress Center in Noordwiikerhout, the Netherlands. He will also travel to Belgium and Frtake. Wittmus is hosted by the Holland Floral Council and is one of 50 United States' floral designers chosen to attend 12 days of trairilng provided instructors from Hollai France, Germany and Sweden. He will have three hours of demonstration and three hours of workshop daily. He will visit florist shops, growers and wholesalers. Wittmus plans to spend two days traveling through Holland's villages, enjoying meals and conversation with local industry personnel. He will travel through ium for a couple of days, expected to be the opportunity to participate in decorating the palace of Versatile for a dinner dance. * Wittmus has been a floral design instructor at MCC for 12 years and is known in the Midwest as a floral com mentator. of seminars for February and March at the college. The class combines dance with exercise, especially for the over 60 age group.
