JETS competition includes students from area schools High school students from McHenry East and West campuses, Johnsburg and Marian Central will be com­ peting in engineering, science and math tests at McHenry County College on Thursday, Feb. 21. Students from 13 county schools have been invited to participate in the competition which is the local level of a nationwide contest sponsored by the Junior Engineering Technical Society (JETS). The competition will be held in two Classes. Class A will include schools where enrollment is less than 705 and Class AA for those above. Each of the students can compete in two test areas and the highest two scores by members of each team deter­ mine the composite team score. The subjects include biology, chemistry, engineering graphics, mathematics, physics ana English.
