SNOW WAS BLOWING A trip to the Milwaukee park where a dog show was held last weekend, lasted longer than usual for Charles and ey to leave the park late Sunday afternoon, but soon found their way blocked by a 17-car pileup, due to the 12 inches of snow. They and other motor home drivers were directed by state police to get off the highway, because of the winds up to 70 miles an hour. Daisy and Charles returned to the park, comfortable in their warm home away from home, staying all night. Monday morning found a six-foot drift by their main door, which Charles had to scoop away with something much smaller than a snow shovel. They arrived safely back at their Lilymoor home Monday afternoon, with thoughts of Carter will be wished birthday happiness by her mother Evelyn, brother John and friends on March 19. ROADSIDE DEBRIS The snow did cover a multitude of sins," and now that all the white is gone the bare truth of slobby people comes to view. Hie amount of cans, bottles, fast-food garbage and auto parts left on roadsides is unbelievable. I know there are many people who would never toss a container out of a car, but why do they all seem to live in Wisconsin or Europe? What to do? Let's arm our selves with a trash bag whenever we walk from here to there, and just pick up the eyesores. / : Ring wood: Spring rummage sale set £ The Ringwood church will be •having its Spring Rummage tSale at the church Friday, >March 22, from 9 a.m. until 5 .m. and Saturday, March ^3, 9 a.m. until noon.
