James Thompson to be a member of a 41-man task force which will analyze and suggest needed changes in state financial services regulations. The governor said he wants the task force to focus its at­ tention on several issues, but focus on the widespread impact of deregulation in the industry. Bolger said his main concern is just that issue. Seminar held on finding money Mike Litwin, senior vice president of Walter E. McArthur of McHenry, 111. has been awarded the Associate in Risk M a n a g e m e n t ( A R M ) designation and diploma by the Insurance Institute of America for successfully completing three national examinations which test for the person's knowledge of risk managment, loss control, and loss financing principles and practices. He is presently employed by CIGNA Corp. as a loss control supervisor, and is responsible for coordinating all loss control programs for 40 major utility corporations in the midwest. He resides in McHenry with his wife and two daughters. "If we deregulate too much, it can lead to concentration," Bolger said. "Too much con­ centration (only a few financial institutions dominating market) can lead to just going by the numbers. There's not the per­ sonal attention that there might be." Bolger also pointed out that smaller banks could be squeezed out by the larger institutions if the trend toward concentration continues. "I think we do have to recognize that the banking in­ dustry should expect more regulation than most businesses because of the fiduciary relationship between a customer Eric Wyss, a 1971 graduate of McHenry High School, recently was hired as a commercial pilot by American Airlines. Wyss, who served on the U.S. Navy air corps for over eight years, learned to flv through the teaching of his late father, who was a captain with United Airlines.
