I was unable to attend, but do greatly ap preciate trustee Dee Valentine taking over my duties. It was stated during police reports that in the month of February, 1,176 miles were put on the squad car. Also, a com mendation was put into one of our officer's file for an act of bravery during a stressful situation. Many street signs were knocked down by our winter activities, but will be repaired or replaced soon. The next meeting will be held March 26 at 7:30 p.m. Why not plan on attending? LADIES OF THE LAKE Ten members attended the first meeting of 1985 last Thursday evening. The ladies set up their tentative agenda for the year with the Hobby Night to take place at the April 11 meeting, at 8 p.m. There now is a new Sunshine Lady, and she is Ruth Brandt. Also, the new PR person is Marion Wohlert. The club would like to extend get well wishes to two of their members, Mickey Swedberg and Marge Stackmck. The cakes for this meeting were brought by the officers. The ladies would also like to see you. Their meetings take place on the second Thursday of each month at 8 p.m. at the beach house.
