She was born June 15, 1899, in McHenry, to George B. )and Ella (Erwin) Frisby. • A lifetime resident of McHenry, Mrs. Schaefer was a past president of the American ;Legion Auxiliary; honorary member of St. Patrick's Ladies iGuild; and member of the Royal Neighbors. ; Surviving are three daughters, Nadine Larldn and Mrs. Bob (Ruth) Wohnrade, both of McHenry and Peggy Kraus of Santa Anna, Calif.; 10 grandchildren ; and nine great­ grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Herman, four brothers and three sisters. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Peter M. Just en & Son Funeral Home. A Funeral Blessing will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in St. Patrick's Catholic Church, McHenry, with interment in St. P a t r i c k ' s C h u r c h y a r d Cemetery. Eleanore F. Cote Eleanore F. Cote, 65, of Cary, 111. died Monday, April 1,1965, in Northern , Illinois Medical Center, McHenry. She was born Feb. 9, 1920 in Chicago, to Walter and Vinnie Morris. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband James Cote; and a brother William Morris. Surviving are six daughters, Mrs. Tony (Nancy) Cosentino and Mrs. Terry (Judith) Phelps, both of Bollingbrook, Mrs. Michael (Kathleen) Boyce of Cary, Joanne Cheslak of Schaumbur g, Mrs. W ay ne (Eleanore) Sandeen of Melrose Park, and Marianne Cote of Cary; two sons, James of Cary and Thomas (Lisa) of John- sburg; 16 grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Willie of1 Lake Bluff and Kay Bercher of Cary; and a brother Hugh Morris of California. Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Kahle-Moore Funeral Home, Cary, where funeral services will be con­ ducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday with Father Andrew Plesa of­ ficiating; and burial in Win- dridge Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the Catholic Relief Services. Carolyn H. Bauer Carolyn H. Bauer, 74, of McHenry, died Tuesday, April 2, 1985, in Northern Illinois Medical Cehter, McHenry. She was born in McHenry March 13, 1911 to Michael and Mary (Tonyan) Bauer. Miss Bauer was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, McHenry, and had been a grade school teacher in McHenry beginning in 1939, and prior to that taught in the country schools of McHenry and Lake County. She resided her entire life in the McHenry area where she received her early schooling. She attended Rosary College, River Forest, for one year and received her teacher's cer­ tificate. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Education with honors from Northern Illinois University, DeKalb, in 1958. She also studied at the University of Chicago. Miss Bauer was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Women's Catholic Order of Foresters and Theta Chapter of Delta Gamma, an honorary society for women educators. Surviving are her brother, Bernard, of McHenry; two sisters, Dorothy Adams and Mrs. Norbert (Helen) Mauch, both of McHenry .
