Marilee Taylor, chairman of the Christian Education Board, Stated "The C.E. Board wishes to acknowledge the hard work and dedication that the staff gives to our Sunday School every Sunday. Without them, Our Sunday School could not survive. We hope that all our church members will join us in {his luncheon in their honor." • Besides their regular lesson material, the children have many craft projects. Some of these are taken to residents of Sheltering Oaks in Island L$ke, when the children entertain them with their repertoire of The prayer chapel at Carefree Village was dedicated recently with residents joining Mr. ana Mrs. Robert Lee in the ceremony. The Lees, residents of Wauwatosa, provided funds to refurbish the altar and pews which were originally given to Woodstock Christian Care in 1950 to provide a chapel at the Woodstock Children's Home. Mrs. Lee admired the work being carried on for people of all ages by Woodstock Christian Care at Sunset Manor and the Children's Home. The donation is in the name of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Schaeffer. "Carefree Village, which was opened as a retirement living center late last year, provides an ideal location for the beautiful altar, stained glass window and pews," said Clifford Redding, executive director. The Rev. Owen Mullet, a resident of Carefree Village, gave the prayer of dedication, praying that "this sacred place be a blessed retreat for those in trouble, or lonely, or seeking special blessings from thy bountiful hand."
