Director sought for Agency on Aging Region Two Area Agency on Aging is -seeking a McHenry County resident to represent the county on its board of directors. The volunteer position is to fill an unexpired term until November, 1986. The primary qualifications required are a sincere interest in benefiting senior citizens and a desire to make the public aware of the .services available to older persons. Volunteers%aged 60 and over are particularly en­ couraged to apply for the position. Interested persons should contact Charles D. The agency informs and advises public and private agencies and the general public of the needs of Music students to give honors recital The Fox Hills Chapter, Illinois State Music ^Teachers* Association, will present Jts annual Honors Recital as part of the "First Sunday at Four" series. It will be held on Sunday, May 5, at 4 p.m. in the Bethany Lutheran Church in Cryatal Lake. There will be no ad­ mission fee. Twenty music students of area music teachers performed in an Audition Recital, held April 21. Twelve of the students were deemed worthy of playing at the Honors Recital. They are Rita Chang, Sara Gesler, Sara Lee, Ashley Pensinger, Melanie Peterson, Shawn Pierce, Kathy Pratt, Becky Snodgrass, Holly Thro, Jack Van Kanegan, Richard Yao and Nancy Young. They were chosen by two judges: Lynn Hansell, from Rockford, where she presently teaches voice at Rock Valley College: and Art Price, from Libertyville, in his 15th year as director of orchestras and music coordinator of the Libertyville schools. Members of the Region Two Board of Directors adopt a regional position of addressing needs ana planning services for the entire area. The Board is actively involved in the workings of Region Two, with responsibilities ranging from tracking pertinent pieces of legislation to making recom­ mendations on which applicants receive funding. ANTIQUE SHOW The Glen Ellyn Children's Chorus Second Annual Antique Show and Sale will run May 3 to 5 at the College of DuPage, Glen Ellyn. Dealer exhibits will be coming from throughout the Midwest. Show times are May 3 and 4 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.; May 5 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The admission charge will be $3.50. A presentation on how to keep healthy and perform basic first aid, highlighted the last meeting of the McHenry County 4-H Federation. McHenry County Extension Youth Adviser Kathy Halstead announced that 4-H camping will be held this summer at Camp Shaw-waw-nas-see, Manteno, 111. Youth Camp is open to all youth ages eight to 13, regardless if they are 4-H members or not. McHenry County will take a bus to camp the weeks of June 29 to July 3 and July 8 to 12. Teen camp is open to youth ages 14 to 19 and features "an adventure with video." They will also make their own movie and explore careers in the video field. A Counselor-In-Training (CIT) program is offered for youth ages 14 to 18. In the CIT Program, youth learn how to work with children and become camp counselors. The com­ mittee will be meeting to plan the June 8 recycling dirve to be held in cooperation with the Woodstock Area Recyclers.
