Pickup day will be May 14, at the home of Pat Malo, at 2 p.m. EASTERN TRAVELERS Doris Low and daughter Pam Kehoe and daughters Robin and Katie returned Saturday after spending v10 days with Linda (Low) and Bill Billikas and family in the Boston area. The days were spent seeing a lot of sights in that area and, of course, enjoying all of the great seafood that the area is so famous for. . Two days were spent seeing the sights of Cape Cod. The famous glass museum in Sandwich, Ma., famous for its glass factory, was verv in- 9 McHenry County will host state dairy princess contest teresting and all ^me quaint houses and shops hajj| special appeal. They got to roam the beach and the lads flew kites on the beach at the very end of Cape Cod. It wasn't crowded at this time of year and in one respect much mpre enjoyable. At Plymouth plantation and the Mayflower ship, one really had a chance to learn all about the people of the 1700's who came over on the Mayflower. The famous Freedom Trail of Boston was most interesting with their vegetable and fish markets; as was Faneuil Hall, with all of its little ethnic food shops. They also visited the Cran berry World of Ocean Spray factory. There they saw progress made in the harvesting of cranberries and the new juices made with cranberries. Samples of juices was enjoyed with a new one that isn't even on the market yet. Pam and Doris were able to bring lobster and shrimp home so that ^ their hubbies could enjoy some of the eastern nostalgia with them.
