Crime Stoppers fun night is Saturday \ < ^ » On Saturday, May 4, tne rl McHenry Area Crime Stoppers will hold its first "Gaming Night" benefit the VFW in McHenry. Activities will begin at 7 p.m. and .will end several hours later with an auction, using play money for dozens of Prizes donated by local >IcHenry area merchants. The $3 admission fee to the night of fun will include $2,000 in play money which can be used at a variety of games. The grand prize is a Las Vegas VANDALS-- zonjng board members7 and planning commission members as well as several people to fill vacancies. The planning commission chairman is George Garbacz. Members and their terms of office are William Nejedly, sik years; Michael Neiedly, five years; David Hall, four years; Janice Martin three years; Connie O'Rourqe, two years; and Roseanne Spears, one year. Zoning board appointees include Norman Mornson, Chairman, four years; Opie Chambers, four years; Donna Hall, four years; Charles Martin, three years- holiday for twol which consists of round-trip air -fare from Chicago to Las Vegas, and a hotel room on the "strip" for four days and three nights. The winner need not be present, at the time of giveaway. Those participating in the fun night will help the McHenry Area Crime Stoppers continue its fight against crime in the area, and have a night of fun, too. The cost of admission will help the Crime Stoppers to continue to pay cash rewards of up to $1,000 for information leading-to the arrest and filing of charges against criminal of fenders. Participants will also be helping me Crime Stoppers maintain an information number (815-459-4800) and install an "800" number in the near k future,, to save the caller money.
