As always, this year's outing highlighted <by will be presence of many sports celebrities. the Chicago Loyola University basketball coach Gene Sullivan, who led the Ramblers into the final 16 in the NCAA tournament this past season, will be on hand, as will Northwestern University cage coach Rich Falk. John Cox of the Chicago Cubs, who is Cub general manager Dallas Green's right-hand man, and a Cary resident, will also be in attendance. Fees for the Marian event is $65, which includes 18 holes of golf, including gas cart and beer on the course, and dinner, which will also be served at the McHenry Country Club. On May 11, from 9:30 a.m. until 11 a.m., Chicago Bear Ted Albrecht will run the event. Albrecht, an offensive lineman for the defending NFC Central Division champs, will work with junior high and high school age students in the use of weights and setting up a weight program suitable for age and personal weight. On May 18, from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m., Clyde Emerich, a 14- time Central AAU weightlifting champion, five-time U.S. cham­ pion, Olympic team member, world record-setter, Pan American champion and member of the Weightlifting Hall of Fame, will work with junior high and high school age students as well. Emericlfyis with the Bears as well, setting up programs for physical conditioning, training and rehabilitation. The Dolphins' season is during the fall and winter months, however the Camp Duncan YMCA is offering a summer com­ petitive swim class, which will enable swimmers to learn what competitive swimming is all about. I » / MASF elections nearing The Annual McHenry Area Soccer Federation General Membership Meeting will be held May 16 at Hilltop School, from 7:30p.m. to8:30p.m. All officers for the 1985-86 year will be elected at this meeting. Also, amendments to by-laws will be voted on as well. Voting will be done between 7:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. only. The MASF urges participation from all interested parties.
