MAY 3l. 1985 Deaths Mercedes Morenz Mercedes Morenz, 68, of McHenry, died Monday, May 27, 1985, in her home. She was born in Sullivan, 111. May 18,1897, the daughter of Charles and Julia Daley. Mrs. Morenz lived in the McHenry area about 35 years, having come from Chicago; and was a retired office clerk, for­ merly with Cook County Hospital in Chicago. Surviving are two sons, Eugene (Martha) of McHenry and Daley (Charline) of Bur- bank, 111.; 15 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles and a daughter Margaret Loper. Graveside services were conducted at noon Thursday in the Decatur Greenwood Cemetery, Decatur, 111., with the Rev. Robert L. Rock of St. John's Lutheran Church of­ ficiating. Friends called from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Peter M. Justen & Son Funeral Home.
