Chris Maxson Duke Norton successful in wins feature Sun Prairie WILMOT, Wis. - Two McHenry area men finished 1-2 in the late model sportsman main at the Wilmot Speedway Saturday night. Wonder Lake's Duke Norton grabbed the top spot on lap 11, put­ ting his Camaro out in front of Pat Rossman of Wadsworth, and holding on for his first win of the season. McHenry's Jay Maywald finish­ ed second, with Rossman, Zion's Wayne Dukas and Deerfield's Dave Clavey completing the top five. McHenry area drivers also fared well in the heats and qualifications of the late model sportsman category. In the first heat, McHenry's Chuck Trinchatilla was third, while Ed Ozog of McHenry took that spot in the second heat. McHenry residents Skip Martin and Dennis Carlton also finished third in the third and fourth heats, respectively. Racing will continue at Wilmot this Saturday.
